My name is Charles Vaughn. Most people call me Chuck. My family moved to the Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte area with my parents in 1977. We had migrated from a community that was west of Cleveland, Ohio. I attended schools within our community and played on a youth football team ( the “WARRIORS”). And later, I played on the Port Charlotte High School’s football team.
I was fortunate as a young man to work with my grandfather and father in the family Snapper Lawn mower business which was known as Bayshore Mower Sales. This was my first opportunity to work directly with customers and learn the importance of listening to a buyer’s concerns with our service and our product. It also gave me early experience in confronting problems and looking for solutions which frequently included repairs. At this time, I was in my teens and it provided me with an early understanding of working with customers.
In my personal time, I had taken guitar lessons as a teen and adult. Today,I am able to share my appreciation for music with the community as a member of various bands. You may even have heard me play at some charity functions or other events.
In 1998, I started up my own business, Vaughn’s Tile and Marble Company which focused on flooring and design. Previously, I had experienced the many phases of construction from electrical to framing to other facets of the building process. That’s when I chose an area that would best allow me to provide a service for the homeowners which enabled me to personalize and reflect the customer’s lifestyles. I am proud of my success in the tiling business, but I also realize that I can meet new challenges in my life and be successful.
Now I am looking forward to providing you with a real estate agent who RECOGNIZES,LISTENS and UNDERSTANDS what you may be looking for as you purchase your dream home. Of course, that agent would be me! By the way, my wife, Tammy Vaughn has many years in the real estate business and is one of my team members. Her input is also invaluable when called upon.
Looking forward to serve you,
